Every commission I paint reflects my subject's unique personality and spirit, bringing them to life with vibrant colors and delicate details. Each piece is custom-created for the client. The process begins with a discussion about your interests. I will also ask you about your pet's background, name, personality, and qualities. All this information helps me create a highly personal portrait. My goal is to produce a timeless and cherished memento that you can treasure forever.

 

​​My process:​​

• I generally work with common, easy-to-frame dimensions: 8x10, 9x12, 12x12, and 11x14. If you have another size in mind, please ask!

 

• Pricing varies by request as each project is custom. Paintings are unframed. Shipping is not included.    

 

• Since a reference photo will be used to create the watercolor likeness of your pet, I ask that you provide one that is digital and of high resolution. (See Pet Photo reference guide for tips)

 

• Photos should be emailed to rebaskinart@gmail.com or texted to 917-837-1962

 

• Once I have all the information I need, I can begin creating a sketch. This will be shown to you once completed. Upon approval of the sketch, you will be invoiced for 50% of the portrait. Payment must be made for the painting to start.

• During the painting I include you on the journey.  I"ll text you updates throughout the stages so you can see the creation come to life.

• You will see a photo of the painting when it is finished. Final payment is made upon completion prior to delivery. 

 

• Payments are accepted via cash or Venmo.  Venmo username is Robin-Baskin-3​
